Slogans is a new series by the artist Lucia Dellefant in which she takes sentences which we seem to be familiar with from the protest movements at the end of the 1960s such as "demand the impossible" and "ready for the revolution?"
The play with these slogans, anchored in the general consciousness, contrasts with their presentation on coloured metal plates, reminiscent in their perspecti-
val form of utopian architectural projects such as can also be found in the paintings of this artist.
The perspectively formulated parallels are aimed at a vanishing point in infinity in the way that the vanishing point of social movements indicates a better future. The obvious failure of these utopias is taken up by the artist in this work, as she questions how strongly the willingness for change is present in each individual in times of crisis.
