start / zufrieden (satisfied)

On the first floor of the student-housing complex is the work start depicting a racecourse for two people. Like a red band, this course links two housing groups with each other within the square of the inner courtyard. The start and the finish are clearly marked as are two curious measurements at 7.7 and 29.3 metres. Students are at the start of a new phase in their lives. They have to decide on a path. If they will reach the finish line in the face of the competition remains to be seen.
But how straightforward should a course of study be? Is the goal determined on at the beginning even the right one? How doggedly and success- oriented should one pursue one's studies and how much space does one allow oneself for what is absurd? ... maybe life is about being satisfied with oneself and one's achievements. Which is why, high above, under the glass roof, the word "zufrieden" (satisfied) is written in golden letters. Now, with a dignified lustre, the nine letters shine in the light coming through the roof, making us look up and aspire to this condition.
